Slow Horses (Apple TV+, Wednesday, 12:01 a.m.)
The highly engaging British spy drama Slow Horses, based on Mick Herron’s novels, returns for another round. Gary Oldman is back as Jackson Lamb, the leader of Slough House, where MI5 rejects band together to form a dysfunctional team. Season three is based on the book Real Tigers, in which Jackson is plucked out of retirement to save Catherine (Saskia Reeves). The cast includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, and Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù. Look out for The A.V. Club’s review on Monday.
The Artful Dodger (Hulu, Wednesday, 12:01 a.m.)
The Artful Dodger focuses on a secondary character from Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. Thomas Brodie-Sangster plays Jack Dawkins, a.k.a. Artful Dodger, in this show set in 1850s Australia. Dawkins, a former pickpocket-turned-respectable surgeon, is drawn back to the world of crime when an old acquaintance returns. David Thewlis, Damon Herriman, and Maia Mitchell co-star. The A.V. Hidden gems
Comedy Royale (Netflix, Tuesday, 3:01 a.m.)
Netflix presents a different kind of K-drama with Comedy Royale. The South Korean reality series brings together 20 comedians from the country for a battle for laughs, with the the winner getting to host a show on the streamer.
Family Switch (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)
Jennifer Garner stars in Netflix’s Family Switch alongside Ed Helms, Emma Myers, and Brady Noon. Directed by McG, the film follows a family of six who accidentally swap bodies when an astrologer’s visit goes wrong, and they all get entangled in what Garner tells The A.V. Club will be “ridiculous” comedy. The ensemble also includes Fortune Feimster, Xosha Roquemore, Paul Scheer, Bashir Salahuddin, and Rita Moreno.

Faraway Downs (Hulu, Sunday, 12:01 a.m.)
Baz Luhrmann has turned his 2008 film Australia, starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, into a six-part limited series. The show follows an English aristocrat (Kidman) who travels Down Under to sell a ranch, only to discover that a baron is plotting to steal it. She teams up with a cattle drover (Jackman) to save the property, and bonds with an Indigenous child battling discrimination in the town.
Obliterated (Netflix, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)
From the minds behind Cobra Kai comes another action comedy, Obliterated. The series centers on an elite special-forces team who, after successfully deactivating a bomb in Las Vegas, party the night away—only to discover another immediate threat.
Bookie (Max, Thursday, 3:01 a.m.)
Who thought this day would come after the Two And A Half Men debacle? Yet here we are, with series creator Chuck Lorre reuniting with star Charlie Sheen after their very public feud for Bookie, an eight-part dark comedy that revolves around L.A. bookmaker Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco) and his friendship with a client (played by Sheen).
